Administration Officer
A new opportunity has arisen for the role of Admin Officer to Hellesdon Parish Council. We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills, a good team player, takes pride in their own work and is community spirited. Knowledge of working within a local authority or voluntary sector organisation would be preferred, but full training will be given to the right candidate
Duties include, but not limited to:
To answer queries of parishioners and councillors To administer operation of the council allotments
To administer bookings for the community centre and sports facilities To maintain the council’s website and social media
To purchase items on behalf of the council To collate information for news articles
To assist with the management of all council assets To create purchase orders for procured items
To attend council / committee meetings when required To assist with reconciliation of café takings
To arrange meetings of the planning committee To ensure councillors have information requested
To lead on council run events Occasional evening / weekend working required
To be committed to training and continuous learning Ability to travel to other areas in the parish
Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week)
Pay: SCP 8 (£25,992 per annum )
