Tennis Courts
Hellesdon Community Tennis has three floodlit tennis courts available to hire which are accessible throughout the year. The courts are situated next to the Community Centre with parking available onsite.
Tennis offers a wide range of physical, mental, and social benefits, making it a highly popular and enjoyable sport for all age groups.
You can pay and play for court hire or take out an affordable Annual Pass for £30, which will entitle all members of your household to book a court for no extra charge.
Netball Courts
We have two outdoor netball courts which are available to hire all year around.
The courts are well-maintained with clear markings and top-notch posts and nets. This ensures a professional and enjoyable playing experience for all participants.
Whether it’s for organised leagues or friendly matches among friends, the facility caters to a wide range of netball enthusiasts.
Hire Rate: £8.50 an hour per court
Floodlights: £3.00 per hour

Bowling Green
Lawn Bowls is a popular sport for all age groups. Currently, the Bowling Green is home to the Hellesdon Bowls Club.
The bowling green is lovingly cared for by our grounds team who ensure it is in tip-top condition.
It’s positioned in a quiet location which is also the ideal place for the remembrance garden.
The rememberance garden has a variety of roses which have been planted over the years and are carefully maintained by our grounds team.
If you are interested in adding a rose and plaque to memorialise your deparated loved one, please contact the Parish Office for further information.

Hire Rate: £1,900 per season (April – September)
Football Pitches
Hellesdon Recreation Ground has one adult and two junior pitches which are available to hire from August through to May. We also have a training pitch which is accessible all year around with the provision of floodlights.
Hellesdon Recreation Ground is the home turf of four regular teams.
We also have changing room facilities with showers avaiable to hire for matches.
Training Hire Rate: £11.45 per hour
Junior Match Hire Rate: £45.00 per match
Adults Match Hire Rate: £70.00 per match
Changing Room Hire Rate: £11.45 per match
All the above rates are inclusive of VAT.
