Open Spaces

Hellesdon Parish Council takes pride in its commitment to providing ample green spaces for both formal and informal recreation, acknowledging the importance of such areas for community well-being.  Despite recent growth and planned housing developments within the Parish, there remains a focus on addressing the under-provision of open spaces. The Council is dedicated to ongoing efforts to expand these spaces wherever feasible and land becomes available.

Green spaces play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life of Hellesdon residents and as the community continues to grow, the Council remains vigilant in identifying opportunities to secure additional land for recreational purposes. This forward-looking approach aligns with the Council’s commitment to fostering a healthy and vibrant community.

Hellesdon Parish Council welcomes collaboration and community input to ensure that the recreational needs of the residents are met, both now and in the future. Together, we strive to create an environment where everyone can enjoy the benefits of well-maintained and accessible green spaces.
