The Chairman welcomed Councillors and opened the meeting at 615p.m.

1. Apologies and acceptance for absence
Apologies were received and accepted from.

2. Declarations of Interest and Dispensations
None recorded.

3. Approval of minutes of the committee meeting held on 20 February 2018
Minutes as previously circulated, were proposed, confirmed and signed.

No members of the public present...

5. General Matters
The meeting considered the following applications:
20180269 – Two Storey Side and Rear Extension – 22 Reepham Road NR6
5LH. After some discussion on the extent of the proposals, in particular the
lack of direct outside access to the rear garden from the front of the property, it
was

RESOLVED TO OBJECT on the following grounds:
 the proposals would result in terracing effect if other property
owners adopted the same principle of development
 lack of access from the front to the rear of the property
 refuse bins would need to be stored at the front of the property

RESOLVED – NO OBJECTIONS TO FRONT, SIDE & REAR EXTENSIONS
BUT OBJECT TO THE ERECTION OF DETACHED DOUBLE GARAGE ON
GROUNDS THAT IT WOULD BE INTRUSIVE TO THE STREET SCENE

6. Exchange of Information
Cllr King – advised of the new Persimmon website for the first phase of housing
on the Golf Course site, also that plans for Phase 2 would soon be submitted to
Broadland District Council.
