The Chairman welcomed Members and opened the meeting at 6.15p.m.

1. Apologies and acceptance for absence
None. All members were in attendance.

2. Declarations of Interest and Dispensations
None recorded.

3. Approval of minutes of the committee meeting held on 22 January 2019
Minutes as previously circulated, were proposed, confirmed and signed.

4. Public Participation
No members of the public present.

5. General Matters
The meeting considered the following applications:

20190061 – Erection of Conservatory Extension to front elevation with retractable roof,
single storey rear extension to form a new kitchen, provision of additional parking spaces
and associated works – The Whiffler, Boundary Road, NR6 5JB – J D Wetherspoon Plc - To
OBJECT due to concerns surrounding parking, highway and pedestrian safety, and
having a deleterious effect on local residents. There are also substantial additional
concerns regarding extra land at the front of the property not being used for parking
and the intent of this in any future developments on the site.

6. Exchange of Information

Cllr. Buck updated the members regarding Broadland District Council’s position
on street lighting and also the empty home council tax levy.

The Parish Clerk updated the members present on the approval of a recent
application at the Dentist Surgery at 153 Middletons Lane which this committee
had previously objected to.

7. Date, Time and Venue of next meeting
This was confirmed as Tuesday 19 February 2019 at 6.30pm.

The meeting closed at 6.43p.m.
