Minutes of the meeting of the Property Policy & Resources Committee held on
Wednesday 30 September 2015 at 6.30pm in

Cllr Gurney opened the meeting and welcomed those present.

Cllr Walsh – no apologies received.

None declared.

3. Approval of the minutes of the meeting held 15 September 2015

Due to resource issues the minutes were not available. These will be presented for
approval at the next meeting.

5. General Matters

Property Policy & Resources
5.1 – Grounds equipment store. The Chairmen briefed members in respect of past
identification and of a lack of storage facility for ground staff and equipment. The
acquisition of more land means greater responsibility of grounds maintenance and
such equates to more robust equipment. To this effect the council has this week taken
delivery of a larger tractor as has previously been advised. The sites as identified were
then considered and much discussion took place.
RESOLVED in principle to locate a new sectional building on identified site 3 the
overflow car park and to delegate to the clerk in consultation with the chairman of the
council and the head groundsman to discuss project management with and secure the
service of Mr Mike Marshall the architect who was engaged with the building of
Diamond Jubilee Lodge. It was further identified of the lack of office resource and to
discuss and engage his service in respect of

           the outstanding work to Diamond Jubilee Lodge in order to close this project
            and
           the resurfacing of the car park,

As agreed the next meeting would be held in The Council Chamber,
Diamond Jubilee Lodge on Monday 12 October 2015 at 7pm.

The meeting closed at 7.45pm.
