Services and Books of Condolence Availability

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
1926 – 2022

At this sad time, the following information will enable local people to pay their respects to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II
Tuesday 13th September to Sunday 18th September 2022
St Mary’s Church will be open on Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday from 10 am -12noon and 2 pm – 5 pm and on Sunday from 3 pm – 6 pm, for lighting candles, private prayer and signing the book of condolence.
Flowers may be laid at the War Memorial. Please ensure all cellophane and other non-compostable materials are removed.
St Paul’s Church will have a Book of Condolence open for those who are attending groups and activities there and on Saturday and Sunday from 2pm – 5pm for private prayer and signing a Book of Condolence.
A Book of Condolence will also be available at the parish office between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday, 6pm – 7.30pm Monday to Wednesday and 10 am – 1pm on Saturday 17th September 2022.
Sunday 11th September 2022 – 10.00am
There will be a service of thanksgiving and prayer at St Paul’s Church, Hawthorne Avenue.
Thursday 15th September 2022
County Services of Commemoration will be held at Norwich Cathedral at 7pm.

The following meetings of the Parish Council have been cancelled:
Property, Policy and Resources committee due to be held at 7pm on Monday 12th September 2022.
Staffing Committee due to be held at 6.15pm on Tuesday 13th September 2022.
