Jupiter Road, Hellesdon – Road Closure For Carriageway Maintenance

Starting Saturday, 11 July 2026, Norfolk County Council will begin essential carriageway maintenance works on Jupiter Road in Hellesdon. The works are expected to take approximately 6 nights over 3 weekends, subject to weather conditions.

To ensure the safety of both the workforce and the public, a full road closure will be in place on Saturday 11 & Sunday 12, Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 and Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 of July between 19:00 and 06:00 while works are carried out. We are aware of businesses on Jupiter Road that operate within these times, and we will maintain access for workers and customers, however delays may be experienced.

To help ensure the works proceed efficiently and without delay, we kindly request that all vehicles are removed from Jupiter Road before works commence each evening. Parking will be available again during daytime hours and on weekdays. There is a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order for a prohibition of parking in place on Jupiter Road on the dates and hours stated above so any cars parked will be committing an offence.

To minimise disruption further, businesses that require specific access arrangements (e.g. for deliveries) are asked to contact:

Harvey Williment (Monday to Friday), or

Paul Beavan (weekends)

Contact details can be found on the reverse of this letter.

The County Council thanks people for their patience while this road improvement work is carried out.

The work which will cost around £93,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Infrastructure Department and their contractors.
