NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (NTRO7121) affecting the 1) A1067 Drayton High Road from 50m west of its junction with Taverham Road for 20m eastwards; 2) C480 Low Road from its junction with A1067 for 30m southwards ; 3) C162 Costessy Road from its junction with A1067 for 50m south-westwards; and 4) C172 Taverham Road from its junction with A1067 for 40m eastwards in the PARISH OF DRAYTON to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The roads will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 19:00 and 06:00 and subject to a 20mph speed restriction between 06:00 and 19:00 from 2nd to 7th October 2023 for the duration of the works expected to be about 6 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: 1) A1067 Drayton High Road, A140 (Boundary Road, Reepham Road, Cromer Road, Holt Road), A1270 Broadland Northway, A1067 Fakenham Road 2) Low Road, Hospital Lane, A1067 Drayton High Road 3) Costessey Lane, The Street, West End, Taverham Lane, Sandy Lane, A1067 Fakenham Road 4) Taverham Road, Sandy Lane, A1067 Fakenham Road (Hellesdon, Taverham, Attlebridge, Horsford, Drayton).
If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order.
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
