The Parish Council is currently recruiting for a Head Caretaker:
Applications are invited to become our Head Caretaker, based primarily at our newly refurbished Community Centre in Hellesdon.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience of managing public facilities such as our community centre, but would be willing to provide training for the right applicant.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Inspection, Maintenance and Repair of Parish Assets
Unlocking/Locking/General Security of Parish Assets
Setting up Community Centre to Hirers’ Requirements
Identifying and Resolving Health and Safety Issues
Setting up Tennis/Netball Courts to Hirers’ Requirements
Setting Rotas to Ensure All Facilities Management are Covered
Keep Outdoor Areas Clean and Litter Free
Light Gardening Duties and Grass Cutting
Cleaning and Restocking
Liaison with Contractors for Specialist Works
Supervision of Caretakers
Quality Control Checks of Cleaning
Driving licence essential
Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week)
Pay: SCP 14 (currently £23,484 per annum)
Location: Hellesdon Community Centre (but would be expected to travel to other parish facilities – vehicle provided)
