New Opening Hours for Hellesdon Library

Hellesdon Library will be increasing its opening hours from 17th June 2018

New Open Libraries technology will allow library members over the age of 16 to use the library during unstaffed hours, giving them an extra 36 hours to enjoy their local library. They will be able to use public internet, borrow books or simply meet up with friends or sit and read.

The Open Libraries technology is being installed in libraries across the county, to allow libraries to open for longer and at times that suit a wider range of Norfolk residents, such as people who work full time or college students.

In libraries where Open Libraries is already up and running, the response has been overwhelmingly positive, as customers are more able to access library services at times that suit them.

If you would like to know more about Open Libraries, sign up to be an Open Libraries user or to join the library, just speak to staff at the library.

The new opening times for Hellesdon Library are:

Monday 8am to 7pm (staff available from 10am to 7pm)
Tuesday 8am to 7pm (open libraries access all day)
