The Parish Council has embarked on a comprehensive review of the application to develop housing on the grounds of the Royal Norfolk Golf Club.
To date the Council has provided:
- a week-long exhibition of the planned development at the Diamond Jubilee Lodge
- A public meeting at Hellesdon High School with representatives from the developers, Persimmon, the Local Education Authority, the County Highways Dept. and planning officers from Broadland District Council. Over a 100 people attended the meeting.
- A meeting of the Parish Council to which local residents were invited to attend, question councillors and give their views of the development and associated issues.
There is an exhibition at the Diamond Jubilee Lodge of the plans for the development of the Eastern Ceramic Tiles site off Eversley Road during the week beginning the 25th January, to which all residents are invited to come along and view the plans and ask questions. Parish Councillors will be in attendance all week.
